Sunday Worship
Sermon from Luke 13
When sinners strayed from God, God didn’t just passively wait for them to return to him. Jesus plunged headlong into our wilderness to rescue us and bring us back to God.
As Lent leads us to the cross, we see Jesus fully enter the wilderness of sin, suffering, rejection, and judgment. He goes there not for His own sake but for ours. Through His death and resurrection, He transforms our wilderness into a place of hope, redemption, and life.
This series invites believers to journey with Christ through the wilderness, recognizing that He walks before us, suffers for us, and ultimately leads us into the promised land of grace.
This Sunday our focus is on how God is always present and patient in our lives. However, this patience is not a call for apathy but urgency.
